YELLOW LIGHT THERAPY

Yellow Light Therapy is used in the cosmetic treatment of burns (such as sunburns) to reduce the appearance of redness, flushing, swelling, as well as other inflammation conditions such as Rosacea, Eczema and tinly blood vessels on your face and nose. It specifically treats sensitive skin and leaves it calm and soothed. It helps to restore the clear, smooth skin that you were meant to have. It stimulates the nervous and lymphatic systems to evacuate waster and stimulate cellular growth and provide a healing by reducing redness and irritation. It tones and strengthens the muscles under the epidermis, bringing tightness back to skin, aiding in the anti-aging process. Along with helping to reduce redness and inflammation, Yellow Light Therapy also provides general cosmetic facial rejuvenation by assisting with the reduction of wrinkles and fine lines. Clinical tests have shown that over the course of a three month period, the treatment produced 70 to 80% results (reduced inflammation and fewer lesions.) Keep in mind that the results may not be permanent. You may have to continue using the treatments for a long period of time in order to keep the bacteria under control. Do not use Blue Light Therapy if you are photo-allergic, or take medications that make you light sensitive; suffer from porphyria; or take cortisone or steroid injections. This procedure is generally for healthy people. Persons with any severe life-threatening disease, epilepsy, photophobia or who are pregnant are not candidates for this treatment. If possible, light sensitive medications should be avoided while undergoing light therapy. Caution should be used for persons with diabetes, sensitive, or damaged skin i.e. burned, skin graphed, tattoo removed, previously lasered or resurfaced skin. There are no known counter-indications; protective eyewear is strongly recommended, but not required.
